In this interview, Jackie Bellagamba shares her journey to achieving clear, acne-free skin after years of struggling.
Jackie and I had only been working together for a few short months before achieving her incredible skin transformation. Prior to her visiting us at Envision Acne & Skincare though, she had been on a very emotional journey with her troubled skin.
“It’s been a very long journey: I started to get acne when I was in high school but it wasn’t that bad and it went away. It then came back worse in my late twenties which was completely unexpected and so I’ve struggled with acne for the past two or three years.
I’ve tried everything and it’s really affected my life on a major level. It affected my confidence number one, which was really difficult. And it just affected my overall happiness. I didn’t want to do anything, I didn’t want to go anywhere. I canceled plans and I just wanted to stay in bed. I cried a lot! I didn’t even want to be around my family and my close friends and I was just really depressed at times because it took over my life in away.”
Like so many clients, Jackie was incredibly frustrated having tried a long list of treatments and products to little or no effect.
“Every product, every treatment. Everything I could find. I spent thousands of dollars on products alone trying to find a solution. Different treatments, sometimes painful, sometimes harmful to my skin but I just didn’t know at the time.”
