I’ve suffered from acne pretty much my entire life from when I was age 11, although I never really focused on my skin until high school. That’s when the realization of having acne finally hit me. I thought that people were staring at me every second of my life.
As I got older, the breakouts would happen more and more frequently and it got to the point, where I’d had enough. I work at a supermarket and sometimes, I felt so worried and self-conscious about what other customers would be thinking when looking at my skin. I didn’t want that anymore. I tried ProActiv, Epiduo and many other products that the Dermatologist had recommended to me, but nothing seemed to work on my skin. It got to the point where I’d be crying all the time, because all I wanted was to be able to have clear skin and to feel beautiful like everyone else, without wearing pounds and pounds of makeup. Finally I came across Envision, it had great ratings and results for previous clients who had committed to a skincare program, so my mind was made up and I was determined to try it.
1.) How long was it before you approached Envision Acne and Skin Center to support your skin care journey and had you received any other form of professional support to help treat to your acne prior to getting in touch with us?
I’d been going to a Dermatologist since I’d developed acne (probably since age 11) and found Envision when I was 18. It took me 7 years to find the right treatment for my face!
2.) Were you able to find a support network and community of individuals either online or in your own personal network of family and friends who you were able to openly talk to about your worries and concerns about how acne was affecting your life and who could help answer your questions, or did you often feel isolated and alone when searching for solutions to address your skincare concerns?
Yes, I had a great support system. Every time I had come back from a visit at Envision, I’d get comments from my family and friends that my skin was getting better and better. I also have a friend who was going through the same thing as me at the time and it was easy to talk to her when I was feeling down about my acne, as she totally understood how I was feeling.
3.) With so much advice on acne available on the internet and in best-selling health and wellness magazines and books published by leading industry authorities, did you feel confident that the information you were researching was accurate, or did you become overwhelmed by the vast amount of materials available on the market and conflicting opinions that were discussed?
I tried so many products and did find all the advice quite overwhelming, especially because a lot of the solutions which I personally tried didn’t work. I was starting to feel less confident and that I’d never find a solution, but once I found Envision I knew I had finally found the answer!
4.) Tell us about your experience with Envision Acne and Skincare Center and how your skin care journey has personally evolved since you’ve embarked on our customized Acne Free Skin Program?
When I first started visiting Envision, I used to walk in with a lot of makeup on, but on my last appointment (and not the last for me), I’d gone from wearing layers of makeup to none at all. Envision has boosted up my confidence to a level I never believed I could achieve. Nikolett, my esthetician who is also the owner of Envision, is so friendly every single time I visit and puts me at ease, plus the treatments she gives are so relaxing, as well as beneficial for my acne! I feel like a better and happy person now.
5.) What advice would you give to others who are currently suffering from acne?
For those struggling with acne, I recommend that you go to Envision Acne & Care Center. They have the right products just for you. Also, don’t let acne bring you down because with time, your skin will be clear and you’ll be happy again in no time.
