Around days 4 and 5 I noticed that for the first time in a while, my face and head felt clear. Gone was that constant dull pain that lives behind my eyes and nose and I realized that I hadn’t had a headache in a few days - my main issue with these sinus problems. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It's hard to see on this picture but this client had lots of little non-inflamed congested bumps under her skin, with occasional inflamed flare-ups on the cheeks.
Her diet was definitely playing a role in those inflamed breakouts and some Omega3 deficiency that was contributing to those non-inflamed breakouts.
She also didn't have a consistent skincare routine which we adjusted and got her into the habit of taking care of her skin twice daily.
With the right skincare routine and some dietary and lifestyle changes, we were able to clear up her #adultacne beautifully.

I would be lying if I'd say the last 3 months of q

I would be lying if I'd say the last 3 months of quarantine hasn't affected my emotional well being, the health of my body & the beauty of my skin😣
It has been a whirlwind of unexpected and unimaginable events and to be honest most days I felt like I was in a twilight zone🧟‍♀️ Regardless of how level headed I naturally am, and the type of person who always trying to look for the positives, pushes through no matter hard it is, it wasn't easy to walk through a storm🌧🌪 There were days when the best thing to do was just to stay in bed and hide under the covers. And there were days and when the sunshine and the blooming flowers inspired me to go for long walks and I believed that something wonderful will happen🌸 It was difficult to live in the unknown and find the strength to be hopeful🙏🏻 when everything seemed to crumble down around us.
I felt it first hand how my emotional state was effecting my body negatively and I had to find ways to correct it. 🔅I had to accept that for a while my skin wasn't going to be perfect. 🔅I had to accept the breakouts, the dullness, the temporary pigmentation that was flaring up out of nowhere just because my body was fighting for survival...I know the root cause was 🧠 STRESS 🧠and I had to find ways to release it, so my body doesn't' have to fight and it can focus on REPAIR🛠
Here is what I did to release the stress and heal my body & skin:
👉Meditated every morning for 15-20 min
👉Went for long walks in nature to soak up healing energy from the trees around me
👉Took short 20 min naps during the day to give my mind a rest
👉Drank herbal teas during the day to calm my mind, my fav is Ashwagandha
👉Made sure to always do at least my nighttime skincare routine, even when I didn't feel like it
👉Used my Illuminate LED light to re-energize my skin, to lighten pigmentation
👉Listened to lots of motivational Youtube videos and podcast
